Pike o’ Blisco

Pike o’ Blisco dominates the south-west corner of the end of Great Langdale, acting as one of a pair of distinctively-shaped “bookends”, of which Pike o’ Stickle, at the north-west corner, is the other. In between the two are Crinkle Crags, Bow Fell and Rossett Pike. Ascent was up Oxendale to the bridge across the beck, thence up Browney Gill to Red Tarn, and from there to the summit. The descent was by the same route. Reasonable views of all the surrounding fells. Distance: 5.4 miles/8.7 km; height: 2143 ft./654m.
