Angletarn Pikes & The Knott
The route was once again from Hartsop, via the path from there to Boredale Hause, thence along the contouring route to AngleTarn, - surely the finest of all the larger tarns - with a diversion to each of the two Angletarn Pikes. Thereafter to Satura Crag and on eventually to the summit of The Knott, plus a brief look over to Rampsgill Head, then back a little and down to Hayeswater and so to Hartsop once again. Weather not of the best for the wonderful views that all parts of this walk provide, but still a great round. Distance: 6.63 miles/10.7 km; height: 2421 ft./738m.
