A short, low-level but spectacular outing, to view the current very snowy panoramas of upper Longsleddale and Kentmere.  The route went from Sadgill up and over the 'pass' to Kentmere, and then briefly north along the eastern side of the dale, and then back once again to Sadgill by the same means.  Very fine views all the way, only briefly interrupted by an 'off piste' diversion instigated by my companion, Jim 'Trust Me' Mercer, in a valiant but ultimately doomed attempt to also include the 'Eagle and Child' pub in Staveley in the round!  But overall, an excellent outing, in great company!
