A Far Easedale Round - 2
After only two weeks, a return visit (see also the February 'Far Easedale Round’ blog) to this delightful area near Grasmere. This time, though re-tracing the first part of the previous outing, the route from the head of the valley was in the opposite direction, to the right, along the delectable ridge that borders the northern side of Far Easedale between Calf and Helm Crags. Weather not of the best, but given the other qualities this walk offers, still a great day out!Distance: 5.6 miles/9.1 km. Ascent: 1715 ft./ 522 m. Highest point - Calf Crag: 1762 ft./ 537 m.[Note: to download any of the photos (1920 x 1440 size), just click on them.]FURTHER INFORMATIONFor further details of this walk, see the following:Richards, M.
