Easedale Round

This is a walk I have done before, but at a different time of year and the opposite way round. But it has too many attractions to ever tire of, no matter how often repeated! It started from Lancrigg at the entrance to Easedale, then proceeded up Great Head and Tarn Crags to the north of Easedale Tarn, from there south to Codale Tarn and Belles Knott (a great spot to perch for lunch!), up again to near Sergeant Man, then east via Blea Rigg, Great Castle How and so on to Silver How and thence back down via Allan Bank. (Distance: 7.3 miles, ascent: 2500 ft.)
