The ascent was from the east, beginning at Glenridding, up Mires Beck, then on up to the summit via Swirral Edge. From there went on to Nethermost Pike and back (for a look around), then descent via Striding Edge. For me, I’m afraid there was no “striding” on the latter, more like crawling, but great fun - like parts of Crinkle Crags, but with a drop on both sides, not just one! (Distance: 8.3 miles, ascent: 3014 feet.)
